Future of a CP kid in India

Postby krishnapriya » Tue Jul 14, 2009 10:34 am

Hi All,
Iam a mother of a 3 year old son with Mild CP. We are from India and we are giving him physiotherapy. AS of mow he is not in a position to stand on his own or get up from lying down position but now he wants to do it and his physical ability does not allow him to do it.

I have a question my kid has a good IQ and intelligence and his disability lies only in his motor skills .. i have a fear of rejection for my son once he grows up in this society.. will he be able to lead a normal life here . we are planning to move to the Middle EAST UAE how will the life be for him there..

I have no idea what you can expect. I just wanted to say "Hello" and "Welcome to the boards".
