I'm 29 and I never wanted to do my exercises either. I hated them mostly because I knew no one else had to do them and I didn't want to be different. I have some problems now, but I really doubt they have anything to do with me not doing the exercises as a kid. I'm not advocating blatant disregard of doctors orders, but it is what it is. What I did take from all of the doctors visits was pretty much USE IT OR LOOSE IT! Keep using what mobility you have and keep it in shape as much as you can or kiss it goodbye. But most of us do that just by everyday activity. Don't worry about it too much. That's my advice.
