Hi, my son has CP and cystic encephelomalaysia, he is 2 years old. He's been on a number of anti-seizure medication, Klonopin, Trileptal, Topomax, Keppra and his DR. wants to put him on Depacote now, I wanted to know if any parents have had good or bad experiences with Depacote and what age was your child when receiving this drug and what type of seizures do they have. My son has focal and myoclonic seizures.

My daighter has CP but she has not had any seizures yet. I have Epilepsy, i am 33. started having them 5 years ago out of the blue. I have tried all those drugs with no success. Depakote made them worse. I take Dilatin, its one of the oldest drugs for seizures. 43 years old to be exact. It helps me alot, Maybe you could ask about it
