Aductor and Quad Release for a 22 month old?

Postby debbielee » Fri Jul 31, 2009 12:47 pm

Hi all! My son is 22 months, doesn't walk, crawl, or sit, but does talk some. He was recently scheduled for an aductor and quad release (both legs). He's been in OT and PT for a year without a ton of progress. This is the first really "medical" intervention he will have, and our PT is NOT crazy about it, she'd prefer baclofen. Advice? Experience?

I wanted to say "Hi and Welcome" to the boards. Someone else may step in and give you better advice. Our PT person doesn't like Baclofen for any long term type of use. But then there are others on the board that had great long term success with it.
