Hello everyone. I found this site trying to help my sister and niece. My sister would like to find equipment for my niece but doesnt have the money to buy the stuff outright priced at thousands of dollars. swings, chairs, bikes. I was just wondering how other parents afford to buy adaptive equipment that is not covered by insurance.

Not sure where you are located but if you are in the USA, many states have programs like the California Department of Rehabilitation. They assist people with disabilities and will even assist with paying for any needed adaptive equipment. Here is the link to the California Department of Rehab:

If you are in another state, do a little research and see what your state has to offer as many have similar programs.
