One of my closest friends has cerebral palsy and is always having trouble finding shoes that she can walk in. Are there any web sites that sell shoes specifically for people with cerebral palsy? She is young, beautiful and fashionable but is continually dfisappointed with the availability of trendy shoes for people with her condition, any help is greatly appreciated I want to surprise her, thanks

My folks would always switch out the shoes. 1/2 inch difference. Im not too sure the shoe stores like this, but what are they going to do?

With women, I have no idea how it works. Female shoes can be so tight that I'm going to assume you are talking about width troubles?

You don’t have to spend a ton of money on expensive shoes to fit over AFO’s. The ankle support is there in the AFO so the shoe is the to prevent slippage and for “style” . If you have a choice- look for mesh rather than leather- the leather will stretch out but the mesh will accommodate the AFO better.

I guess you could order specialized shoes for her, and they are made by many famous or local makers...
